From the rubber plantations of Kerala in South India, come excellent quality rubber wood logs that are machined into solid wood panel boards (finger jointed panels), RSKD & S4S Scantlings and rubber-wood furniture components at Gomma Wood Products' own state-of-the-art factory.

Gomma Solid Wood Panel Boards are made using the technique of finger-jointing and edge gluing. Rubber wood logs are sawn to sections. Sawn sections are chemically treated and seasoned under controlled conditions of humidity and temperature.

These sections of shorter lengths are finger jointed to form long lamellas. Lamellas are edge glued to form boards of convenient sizes. This method enables production of solid wood panels, which are far superior to other panel products available today. The panels, available in standard thickness varying from 12mm to 50mm, are an open invitation to a creative genius.

The product is very adaptable to sawing, chiseling, engraving, carving, moulding and staining like solid wood.
